Classic Mini Drum Brakes

An alternative to brake discs, drum brakes have an increased friction area that will generally see them last much longer. This range of Mini drum brakes includes parts for all standard models; from the very first in 1959, through to 1984 – without spacers, and for models from 1984-2001 that do contain spacers.

If you partake in any classic Mini rallying or track racing, do check out our competition-tested Superfin Alloy Brake Drum that can be fitted to models made from 1984-onwards. These are high-quality Brake Drums that have better cooling efficiency, coming complete with a spacer for extra rigidity and strength – weighing less than 50% of the standard mass.

When changing a Brake Drum on your classic Mini it is always advisable to change them in pairs for complete braking efficiency.
